How to Run DLSS 5 in CS2?

One user used a special ReShade add-on that captures the game frame in DirectX 11 and passes it to the Direct3D 12 interface. The system then generates a synthetic DLAA evaluation, which is combined with DLSS 5 algorithms and Neural Rendering calculations. The processed frame is then returned to the engine.
Another option is to use Optiscaler, which works with any game that supports FSR, and CS2 is one of them.
Pros and Cons of DLSS 5 on CS2
Users report a more cinematic-looking image. Textures look much richer, and the overall picture is more pleasing to the eye. However, neural image processing currently has several limitations. Since there is no direct integration with the game engine, the method does not yet use motion vectors or depth. Despite this, the neural network was able to correctly render the necessary shading and micro-contrast elements.
Unfortunately, there is another major downside to all this visual beauty right now. Since CS2 does not officially support the technology, it has to be run through a complicated workaround, which inevitably affects performance.
One Reddit user noted that after applying the ReShade method, the overall frame rate on their 5070 Ti dropped by as much as 70%! Beauty may require sacrifices, but sometimes the price is simply too high.
